Trace Analytical Laboratories, Inc. was born of a revolution, but not the kind of revolution you might think. It was a Green Revolution, a burgeoning environmental awareness that came to a peak in the 1980s and spawned a whole new industry - the environmental industry.

Trace was founded in 1989 by William Schroeder, Jr., Ph.D., a scientist and academician with a vision for the future and a commitment to creating a cleaner environment in Muskegon and throughout the U.S. Bruce Pelletier joined Trace in 1990, becoming Dr. Schroeder's partner and president of Trace.

Under Dr. Schroeder's and Bruce Pelletier's leadership, Trace is active in local environmental projects while pursuing research into new and even more effective analytical methods.
